Inspired by the Pulp Fiction movie, this is one of the few personal pieces that actually reflects the vision I had in my head. From my amazing friends (Guadalupe & Guillermo) being the perfect models, the diner's personality and the kind people who worked there, to the cocaine and the blicky; I'm proud of the results.
Prepare. Prepare. Prepare.
In the perfect world, I would've location scouted at least a week in advance of the shoot. In the real world, I almost settled for a Denny's or an In-N-Out. The night before the shoot, the Omelet House 50's Diner appeared at the very bottom of my results list. The way my heart skipped a beat when I saw the Google review pictures... THE CHEVY TABLE. No, like, actually??! I immediately called and asked if we could reserve the table and take pictures inside the restaurant and with no hesitation, the staff welcomed us.
the vision board
the way this was my first actual 'organized' vision board for a personal shoot...
If it's one thing my models did, they held *tf* out of those cigs!
