Retrouvailles Valley was brought to life by a good friend, Jaiden, and is focused on "community and showcasing what you can accomplish with the help of a healthy village". RV is also the first brand I've ever had the opportunity to work with!
I initially reached out, letting him know I'm looking for brands to shoot for my portfolio and with perfect timing, the 'Matcha' drop was on the way.
Our communication definitely helped bring the vision together. Jaiden and I spent most of the time defining how we wanted to capture the images, to maximize a variety of looks we could create. The deliverables included solo shots of each model in different poses, fun duo and group pictures, and a few composited images for that 'editorial' feel.
Let this be a reminder to support your friends, especially when they pour themselves into what they love doing! As a growing business owner myself, I understand how difficult it can be when we blend our passion projects into our business.
